Keynote Speaker:Leave Your Mark...because faith changes everything

Everyone wants to leave a positive impact.  But what does that mean and how do we do that?  We can't do it on our own.  Join us as we explore what it means to be women who emulate unswerving faith in our God, scandalous grace to others and have our lives marked by our shocking choices.

Katie Golinvaux

Katie Golinvaux is a Personal and Leadership Development specialist, corporate trainer and Gallup Certified strengths Coach at True North Consulting.  She has a passion for encouraging women to be rooted in the love of Jesus Christ.  Her heartbeat is to teach women to grow in their faith and serve our great God by using the talents He has gifted them with.  Katie leads women’s bible studies in her church, and alongside her husband she co-leads worship and enjoys hosting a small group.  She resides in Northeastern Wyoming with her husband Jared and their five teenagers.

Seminar:  Leading from your Strengths

Think for a moment about the leaders that have impacted you in some way. Regardless of the role they filled at the time, chances are, they altered the course of your life. It is likely that you will have many opportunities to lead during your own lifetime. Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us. He has given you the gifts and talents that you need to be an effective leader and make your mark on others’ lives for His glory. In this session, participants will discover the three keys to being a more effective leader: -Knowing your strengths (different than spiritual gifts) -Investing in others' strengths -Understanding the four basic needs of those who look to you for leadership.

*Want to know what your strengths?  Pre-register for optional personalized strengths assessment & private coaching session to refine your vision and discover the unique ways God has made you. You will discover your personal strengths and find out how you can best apply them.  This one-on-one session is being offered at a special discounted rate.  Simple purchase your assessment above and Katie will contact you to set up a time to meet during free time at the retreat.

Tonya Hance

Raised in Tennessee, Tonya keeps the volunteer state’s spirit by being active with faith-based humanitarian organizations along with disaster response.

Seminar:  Do You Believe

Do you believe? This is the challenge. Can you still believe that God is good and that He cares when He doesn't answer your prayers the way you want them to be answered? Do you believe that God can change your situation? Can you still love Him if He doesn't?

Our emotions lie to us when our faith has been shaken to the very core. We may know in our heads that God is a "good, good Father," but it may not be what we feel during hard times. However, our image of God does not change the reality of God! If you have ever questioned God's goodness or love, this message is for you.

Friendship and Faith: Why deep friendships are important for our walk with Jesus

“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” -C.S. Lewis. The faith journey that we find ourselves on is made richer through the deep friendships that we form. In this seminar, we will explore Biblical friendships, what “friendship” with Jesus looks like and how we can nurture and enjoy the friends that God brings into our life for the benefit of our faith journey
